June 2019 Monthly Horoscope
There are two major aspects to watch out for this June 2019, the first of which will be already making itself felt for some of us. A quintile between Uranus and Pluto has the effect of strengthening the influence of these two planets and will aid the process of transformation in our lives.
Then a tense aspect between Saturn and Uranus, which will be felt throughout the middle part of August 2019, will result in situations of tension and irritability.june 2018 monthly horoscope for all sun signs
ARIES
You are no doubt already aware that you are going through a process of transformation in your life, as a look back at the distance you have come in the last year will show. The Uranus/Pluto aspect only strengthens and pushes further the changes that are taking place in your life, but you may be pushing yourself to the limit at this time, although it will be hard for you to give yourself some breathing space.
And the tense Saturn/Uranus aspect won’t help, unfortunately, giving you a feeling of being restricted in some way and causing you to want to kick out against whatever you feel is holding you back. This may manifest itself at home or in your family relationships, so beware of domestic accidents or upsets.
TAURUS
The influence of the Uranus/Pluto alignment is likely to be having a transformational effect on either jointly owned property and shared resources, your long term objectives, or even your circle of friends and acquaintances.
And the influence of the tense Saturn/Uranus aspect finds you needing more freedom in your daily life, as you feel restricted in some way. You have an urge to get out and about more and will feel quite stifled and irritable unless you are able to do so. Career issues are likely to go well, however, as the New Moon early in the month suggests that a new beginning is possible.
GEMINI
The influence of the Uranus/Pluto alignment indicates that transformational changes are taking place in your life in either your career or public persona, or where partnerships matters are concerned.
But then the tense Saturn/Uranus aspect suggests that you are fed up with current financial restrictions and may be tempted to over-react in a way that could do you more harm than good. Resist becoming irritable with people in authority, or becoming impatient with people at work. Matters will improve by the end of the month as long as you aren’t tempted to make sudden changes you may later regret.
CANCER
The effect of the Uranus/Pluto aspect could manifest itself in either your working life or where health and diet issues are concerned, forcing through changes that will eventually transform your life. But as Uranus is in the area of your chart connected with wider knowledge of the world through travel or further education, it could indicates changes here.
The tense Saturn/Uranus aspect, however, is likely to have a much more immediate effect as Saturn is in your sign. You are likely to chafe against perceived personal restrictions to your freedom with the danger of a rebellious reaction, or at the very least with irritability and frustration that you need to express.
LEO
The effect of the Uranus/Pluto aspect could result in a transformation of your life through love and passion, it could mean a transformation in the lives of your children, if you have them, or you could feel a surge of artistic inspiration that sends your life in a new direction. But since Uranus is in the area of your chart connected with jointly owned property and shared resources, these areas of your life may also be undergoing a major change.
So the tense aspect between Saturn and Uranus later this month may cause you to have secret fears about the perceived limitation of your freedom, or the restrictions you feel you are suffering where property or income is concerned. Be assured that matters will improve before the end of the month.
VIRGO
The influence of the Uranus/Pluto alignment is indicating some sort of transformation in your life where a partnership or your family or home life is concerned. Then the tense aspect between Saturn and Uranus, which influences a major part of the month, indicates a sudden need for freedom, either on your part or where a partner is concerned.
Emotional conflicts and quarrels could be the result, so control your irritation if you can, to prevent the situation from getting out of hand. You will be pleased to know that this situation will improve before the end of the month, as you will read in our weekly forecast!
LIBRA
The combined influence of Uranus and Pluto wants to force a transformation in your life, either by way of a change of locality, or where your workplace or your health and diet is concerned. Changes need to be made and if you make the effort, you will succeed.
Then the tense aspect between Saturn and Uranus, which affects much of the middle of the month, finds you restricted in some way that you find intolerable. A sudden need for freedom could result in an over-reaction on your part that you will later regret, so control your irritation if you can, in the knowledge that the situation will look very much better by the end of June.
SCORPIO
There has been much planetary emphasis where your income or personal property issues are concerned over the past month or so and the current Uranus/Pluto alignment suggests that if you really push for what you want now, you will succeed in a way that will transform your life. The New Moon early in the month indicates that you can make a fresh start in a matter connected with your home and family and with Venus in this area of your chart for most of the month, home life will feel great.
Unfortunately, however, Venus often means that you spend more than you should on home improvements or decoration! The tense Saturn/Uranus alignment could give you difficulties with travel, or legal affairs so perhaps you should put off any such matters until the end of the month!
SAGITTARIUS
The influence of the Uranus/Pluto alignment is indicating that efforts you make to transform your home or family life can succeed although this may result in much tension with family members. And following this, the tense aspect between Saturn and Uranus indicates a likelihood of emotional conflicts within the home, centering on jointly owned property or shared resources.
With Mars in Capricorn, possessions and income are very important to you and you will not give up anything without a struggle. The strain and tension should ease by the end of the month, however, as Venus brings harmony again to home life.
CAPRICORN
The influence of the Uranus/Pluto alignment suggests that extra effort now on your part could result in a transformation of your life where either mobility, location or communication is concerned. Following this, however, the tense aspect between Saturn and Pluto indicates the possibility of some tension or strain where partnerships are concerned.
It doesn’t help that Mars, moving into your sign, makes you more assertive, more determined to do things your way and less likely to compromise, so you can expect some emotional conflict before the month is through.
AQUARIUS
The New Moon in your sign early in the month suggests that new beginnings are possible for you and certainly, the aspect between Uranus, your ruler, and Pluto, suggests transformational changes in your life where income or property are concerned.
Saturn, the co-ruler of your sign, then makes a tense aspect to Uranus, indicating that you perceive the changes in your income to be a restriction that limits your freedom. In fact, once you have overcome your feelings of irritation and rebellion against the current circumstances, you will see the best outcome is that it sets you free!
PISCES
The influence of the Uranus/Pluto alignment this month suggests some sort of transformation in your life, in your attitude or in the way in which the world sees you. Uranus in your sign heralds a period of sudden changes, much of which you will have already experienced over the past year or so. And as the month progresses, so a tense aspect between Saturn and Uranus finds you kicking against the perceived limitations of your freedom.
You are likely to be restless and somewhat irritable, needing more air or space, which could result in conflict with others. The situation improves by the end of the month, however, when the Full Moon sees a resolution to a matter concerning your closest relationships.

Ultraviolet UFO Photography
At the opposite end of the visible light spectrum and just beyond the colour violet, we have the ultraviolet. Like infrared, ultraviolet light is also invisible to normal human sight, but by using a full spectrum camera or camcorder in conjunction with an ultraviolet pass filter you can take a glimpse into this normally unseen world and record the strange invisible life-forms and objects that reside there. In his later work Trevor James Constable also began probing the ultraviolet, his filter of choice being the Wratten 18A, and in 1975 he discovered that he could capture UFOs from the window of an airliner by placing an 18A filter over the lens of a low-light Super 8mm movie camera loaded with Ektachrome 160 colour film. The 18A filter is designed to block the visible light spectrum while passing its two invisible ends i.e. the infrared and ultraviolet, but despite this Constable managed to capture the UFOs in full colour as they flew alongside the airliner at 30,000 feet. He realised that these colours were created between the lens and the camera filter, and he called this mingling of the two invisible ends the reverse or dark spectrum.
MaxMax have a range of ultraviolet pass filters available including the X-Nite 330 and the X-Nite UVR, both of which I have used during my photographic pursuit of invisible UFOs. The X-Nite 330 blocks the visible light spectrum while allowing the invisible ultraviolet radiation to pass to the camera's sensors, having a peak ultraviolet transmission of 80% at 330nm. It also has a slight infrared transmission around 720nm, whereas the X-Nite 330C by comparison has barely any noticeable infrared transmission, giving you a pure ultraviolet image. The X-Nite UVR filter is predominantly an ultraviolet pass filter that blocks most of the visible light spectrum apart from a small amount of visible blue light, and like the X-Nite 330 it also has an infrared transmission, but ultimately it passes a larger amount, having almost a 60% infrared transmission at 720nm.
After much experimentation I discovered that the X-Nite 330nm filter performed best for my needs when used in combination with the "sun obliteration technique," and much of my best ultraviolet UFO footage was obtained this way. Because it is such a dark dense filter I found the X-Nite 330nm to be much more efficient when used in bright sunny situations with lots of ultraviolet light in the scene, and it didn't perform that well on dark or overcast days when there is little or no natural sunlight. Due to the X-Nite UVR filter passing both infrared and ultraviolet radiation along with a small amount of visible light, the sheer amount of reflected light would often be too intense for the camcorder's sensors, sometimes causing distorted or over-exposed images. For this reason I find the X-Nite UVR is much more suitable for filming things further away or much higher up in the sky, rather than employing the filter in any type of sun obliteration.

Fig: 1. My first convincing capture in the ultraviolet was this jellyfish-like invisible life-form, filmed as it moved "tentacles" first above the main roof of my house on the afternoon of September 29th 2011. The object was captured using a full spectrum Sony Handycam, which was fitted with an X-Nite 330nm UV pass filter. The "sun obliteration technique" was employed, with the apex of the house roof being utilised to block out the main body of the sun. The "jellyfish" which was recorded at 25fps only appeared in two frames, and by the next frame it had moved far enough out of the "illumination zone" that it became very faint and almost transparent and barely visible. Fig: 2 shows an inverted version of the same image.

The graph above shows the transmission rates of the X-Nite 330, 330C, and UVR ultraviolet pass filters available from MaxMax.com. The x-axis shows the infrared transmission in nanometres, while the y-axis gives the percentage of transmission. As can be seen from the graph, there is a slight differential between the ultraviolet transmission of each filter, as well as the amount of infrared radiation that is also passed.

In Figs:3 and 4 we see a perfect example of an invisible UFO entering the "illumination zone" and becoming visible in the ultraviolet part of the electromagnetic spectrum. This footage was taken on a sunny afternoon in September 2011 using a full spectrum Sony Handycam fitted with an X-Nite 330nm UV pass filter. It is advisable to keep an eye on the camcorder's LCD screen quite regularly when filming to ensure that the sun does not rise to high above the edge of the roof, as this will create a "white-out" which will ruin any potential footage and could potentially damage the camcorder's sensors. Always use the LCD screen when working, and never look directly at the sun through the camera/camcorder's eyepiece, no matter how tempting it is, as this can result in permanent eye damage.

Doctor claims he has evidence of the afterlife

The near-death experience story is so common that it has become a bit of a cliché: A medical patient, hanging in a murky limbo between life and death, is drawn through a tunnel of bright light, meets their maker, and is told they must return to the land of living.
But that scenario played out letter-perfectly for Mary Jo Rapini. And her story is getting firm backing by a doctor who has studied some 1,300 near-death experiences. Medical doctor Jeffrey Long chronicles Rapini’s story, along with his own research, in a new book: “Evidence of the Afterlife: The Science of Near-Death Experiences.”
In the book, Long contends his study shows that accounts of near-death experiences play out remarkably similarly among the people who have had them, crossing age and cultural boundaries to such a degree that they can’t be chalked up simply to everyone having seen the same Hollywood movie.
Through a tunnel
Appearing with Dr. Long on TODAY Wednesday, Rapini related her near-death experience to Meredith Vieira. A clinical psychologist, Rapini had long worked with terminal cancer patients, and when they told her of their near-death experiences, she would often chalk their stories up as a reaction to their pain medication.
But in April 2003, she faced her own mortality. Rapini told Vieira she suffered an aneurysm while working out a gym and was rushed to the hospital. She was in an intensive care unit for three days when she took a turn for the worse.
“All of a sudden [doctors] were rushing around me and inserting things into me, and they called my husband,” she told Vieira.
“I looked up and I saw this light; it wasn’t a normal light, it was different. It was luminescent. And it grew. I kept looking at it like, ‘What is that?’ Then it grew large and I went into it.
“I went into this tunnel, and I came into this room that was just beautiful. God held me, he called me by name, and he told me, ‘Mary Jo, you can’t stay.’ And I wanted to stay. I protested. I said, ‘I can’t stay? Why not?’ And I started talking about all the reasons; I was a good wife, I was a good mother, I did 24-hour care with cancer patients.

“And he said, ‘Let me ask you one thing — have you ever loved another the way you’ve been loved here?’ And I said, ‘No, it’s impossible. I’m a human.’ And then he just held me and said, ‘You can do better.’ ”
While Rapini’s account may seem far-fetched to naysayers, Long says her recollections mirror nearly all stories of near-death experiences. When Vieira asked Long whether Rapini might be prone to cultural conditioning — surely she heard similar stories before — he said her story is untouched by preconceived notions.
Crossing cultures and ages
“I think if near-death experiences were culturally determined, then people that had never heard of near-death experiences would have a different experience,” Long argued. “But we’re not finding that. Whether you know or don’t know about near-death experiences at the time it happens, it has no effect on whether the experience happens or not, or what the content is.”
In his book, Long details nine lines of evidence that he says send a “consistent message of an afterlife.” Among them are crystal-clear recollections, heightened senses, reunions with deceased family members and long-lasting effects after the person is brought back to life.
“My research involved experiences of young children age 5 and under, and I found the content of their near-death experiences is absolutely identical to older children and adults,” he told Vieira. “It suggests that whether you know about near-death experiences, what your cultural upbringing is, what your awareness of death is, it doesn’t seem to have any effect on the content of the near-death experience.”
Long, a radiation oncologist, said that writing his book has actually made him a better doctor, as well as a believer in the afterlife.
“[It] profoundly changed me as a physician,” he said. “I could fight cancer more courageously. I found patients who died, it wasn’t the end. It made me more compassionate and more confident.”
