I could feel the pain throbbing deep in Anna's heart, pulsing out from her soul like cold waves. As I mentally blessed Anna and asked my guides to help me help her, a presence that identified itself as Anna's father stepped in. There was an uneasy energy around him, as if he was trying to block something. Was his message filled with anger and, if so, would Anna be hurt by hearing from him? Should I censor his words? I thought. No, Anna had the right to hear from her father's spirit - if that's what she truly wanted. So I began the session by asking, "Anna, do you want to know everything?" Asking "Do you want to know everything?" is a technique I learned from English medium Lisa Williams. When working one-on-one with a client, asking that question takes the onus off me to edit spirit's words. I've had energies come in using salty language, and a couple female spirits identified themselves to their husbands using descriptions better suited to Playboy magazine. Because I didn't edit spirits' words, clients were always able to identify the presence. Anna looked at the floor for a moment before answering, "Yes." In my mind, I asked the spirit to step closer to me. "He's calling himself 'father'. There are scars on his arms. He feels like a gruff man. He's showing me a belt. And now he's throwing it away. Do you understand this?" Anna's eyes filled with tears. "Yes," she said, reaching for the box of tissues on my desk. "Oh, yes." I felt Anna's sadness within me. "He's bringing in another spirit. This motherly energy is gentler. She feels tired. I see her lying in bed. She wants to thank you for the roses." Anna looked bewildered. "What's she doing with him? They couldn't stand each other. They stayed together because they were so religious, the only thing worse than staying married was getting divorced." Quietly, she added, "He was a brute. He made both our lives miserable." Anna's father spoke to me, and I repeated his thoughts: "He's sorry for the way he acted. It was the way he was brought up in the old country. Family men were expected to be tough and punishing. He's asking for forgiveness-" "Enough!" Anna said angrily. "I'm supposed to forgive him, and everything will be fine? Because of him, I've had three bad marriages. It's his fault that my life is so awful!" Her teeth clenched. "No way! No way!" Instantly, I no longer felt the spirits of Anna's parents. I closed my eyes and white-lighted the room to help clear away the negativity. Then I opened a drawer in my desk and took out my list of references - phone numbers, websites and reputable counselors who offer services I'm not qualified to give. I keep the list because I have another rule, thanks again to Lisa Williams: Never allow a client to leave emotionally distraught. And my rule: Always give the client hope. I gently recommended that Anna talk with a therapist I trusted who specialized in anger management and family dynamics. Anna grudgingly wrote the woman's phone number on a slip of paper, then silently left my office. As I reflected on the session, I wondered if it was best than I told Anna everything about her father. Spirit whispered to me that sometimes, the only way people can move forward is to hear what's blocking them from enjoying life. Anna has her journey, just as we all have our unique paths to walk. Somehow we automatically associate encounters of the paranormal as being something demonic or fearful. Rarely, it seems, do psychic participants take offense at these invasions by apparitions no matter how astonished they may be. In one intriguing experience my colleague Yvonne had called me from her mobile phone asking me to assist her in disarming a benevolent spirit who was at that very moment causing her great distress because she was on the road traveling to another town. Convinced of a psychic attack of some sort I asked Yvonne to focus her attention on one single object in her view. It was difficult at first getting her to concentrate on anything but with continued verbal persuasion she managed to focus on a street sign up ahead and as she did the spirit fell quiet. Yvonne explained to me that she had just come from a weekend psychic fare where she had been working non-stop. Her last customer was a person who had several entities attached causing the person much sorrow to the point of losing everything, their home, their job and marriage. The encounter Yvonne experienced was one of those horrific events we tend to associate with a thriller on the big screen. She explained that her car began to shake as if in an earthquake and when she pulled to the side of the road, outbursts of flames surrounded the car. While on the phone with me, she described a human shape appearing out of the flames. Accounts of paranormal encounters such as Yvonne's are numerous, unfortunately, most have gone undocumented in fear of being ridiculed by our piers and quite of often making us doubt the experience of ever happening at all. We tend to 'create' reasons for it not to be real such as stress or sleep deprivation to be the culprit even though we may have just come from a day spa and had 8 hours of sleep. Encounters of the paranormal happen all the time here in the 21st Century. The barrier between the dimensions are down. There is barely any veil at all between this physical world and the spirit world. People around the world are capable of seeing ghostly apparitions, visitors from other worlds, and from time to time we have visitors from other time periods. An ever growing number of people are now beginning to explore their own intuitive process and are seeking out practitioners to guide them into a new reality in the supernatural world we live in. In my opinion it is just a matter of time that we acknowledge evidence of collective fixations of thinking of the paranormal as the new "normal". There have been several references to shadow creatures and shadow people to paranormal encounters. It seems that these shadow beings are attaching themselves to the investigators. It leads me to wonder if these beings are actually trying to communicate with us now whereas before they would disappear the minute you faced them head on. I am ready to bet that a good percentage of the population who risked their financial freedom by starting their own business and failed abandoned their dreams right before they would have reached their ultimate success. They were on the right track, did everything they were suppose to do, followed everything by the book, but yet, felt like they were running on a treadmill and never going anywhere, where in reality, they were so close to reaching their ultimate goal. Here is the inevitable truth. You will never know when you are close to success, or failure. Signs might be apparent thought, where you feel like you are going nowhere and peddling into the unknown. On the other hand, you should stay positive and always feel like you have already reached the success you been looking for. The feeling and the belief that success already happen is the stepping stone for something great soon to happen. Imagine this. Let say you have inherited millions of dollars but it will come when attorneys are done with the paperwork. They do not give you any specific date but do guarantee the amount of the inheritance. The first thing people do besides jumping up and down is formulating a plan of what to do with this new found wealth. They decide as to where they will invest the money, how many square footage their next home should be, how many car garage it should have, what color Ferrari to purchase and are already contacting real estate agents and visiting car dealership. The feeling must be incredible. Remember, you haven't received the money yet but are acting as you already had. You are happy, in amazing mood, your perception to things are different, life is great. Now, how about adapting this attitude and concentrate on you being the one receiving this inheritance. You are working hard on yourself, doing anything and everything to reach success so you do deserve to feel like you have already reached it, even if it's just for ONE day. Once you feel amazing because of that little mind game, you would want to feel amazing again the next day, and the next and so on and so forth. The feeling of stress or being poor is no longer an integrated element of the equation of your life because you replaced it with abundance. Take it one day at a time and let that feeling grow on you. If you do not want to visit a Ferrari dealership because they would request you for a $20 000 deposit right before you enter to make sure you are serious about buying, go online and choose your color and model. In a guide to Clairvoyance we will examine the gift of clairvoyance becoming a seer. Clairvoyance is the ability to see what is unseen of having the power of knowing or cognizing realities, to see the different levels of the Astral Plain. Developing clairvoyance isn't difficult firstly to re-kindle the gift of clairvoyance you are advised to rid yourself of negative thoughts and tendencies and to understand that fear, doubt, nervousness and anxiety will impede accomplishment and may block the development of clairvoyance altogether.
